Cultural Immersions with Australian Coastal Safaris.
This immersive Cultural experience on Nauo Country within Coffin Bay National Park offers visitors a deeply respectful and enriching connection to Ancestors, land, sea and sky. The experience is grounded in collaboration, relationship, and respect for Country.
The tour begins with a ‘Welcome to Country’ by my niece Nauo woman, Tahnee Weetra, who shares her people’s deep connection to Country through storytelling and language. Tahnee’s welcome invites visitors to enter Nauo Country with understanding, respect, and openness, offering insights into Nauo Cultural identity, place-based knowledge, and the enduring relationship between people and land.
I then lead guests on a gentle bush food and medicine trail, sharing knowledge of natives plants and animals traditionally used by Ancestors of the region and connected regions for food, healing, tools, and daily life. Along the way, stories are shared of how families travelled, visited, and camped on this Country, weaving together lived experience, cultural memory, and connection to place.
These insights are further enriched through connected songlines and star stories, revealing how the people, landscape, coastline, and night sky are connected through Indigenous knowledge systems and Lore.
The experience concludes with a creative art workshop, where participants are invited to reflect and create, guided by the stories and knowledge shared on Country. This hands on activity offers guests a meaniful way to deepen their understanding and take with them a lasting reminder of connection, respect, and learning.
This Cultural tour is an authentic, educational, and heartful immersive experience that honours Nauo Country, celebrates shared Indigenous knowledges, and offers visitors a rare opportunity to walk, listen, and learn on Country.
Cosmic Cultural Star Emersion with Yarnbala
My Cultural connection to the stars has been a long love and passion of mine. Through my Cosmic Cultural Star Emersion talks participants are immersed in Cultural Star Knowledge that weaves and connects Indigenous stories of the night sky, Songlines, Culture, Country, and astronomy. It is a unique Cultural experience held at Yarnbala, a beautiful gathering place surrounded by natural bushland in Coffin Bay National Park on Nauo Country.
This immersive experience begins with a Welcome to Country by my niece, Nauo woman, Tahnee Weetra, who shares her people’s connection to Country followed by an introduction from Yarnbala’s owners and facilitators, Kane and Brooke Slater, who share the vision and purpose of this special place.
Held in a peaceful outdoor setting, the experience invites reflection, deep listening, and a renewed sense of connection - to the stars above, the land beneath our feet, and the ancient wisdom that is grounded and continues to guide us all today.
“Through Cultural knowledge and astronomy, Susie Betts’ Connection to the Stars immersive experience reveals our shared connection to the ancient wisdom of the stars. A beautiful and inspiring experience”

Cultural Immersion with Baird Bay Experiences
The Wirangu Cultural Immersion with Baird Bay Experiences offers guests a deeply respectful and spiritual journey on Wirangu Country, guided by Wirangu Cultural Knowledge Holder, Susan Betts.
Departing from Baird Bay Resort, this immersive experience invites participants to walk, listen, and learn on Country through story, presence, and connection to land, water, and spirit.
During the tour, guests are guided to several significant sites, including Murphy’s Haystacks, known to Wirangu people as ‘Waldya-gu barnda-muga’ (Eagle Rocks) - the sacred place of ‘Waldya’ the Eagle, their totem. It is also a significant songline that travels across many countries, traversing across landscapes north and southward
This powerful site is part of Women’s and Men’s Tjukurrpa (Dreaming) and holds deep cultural meaning connection to birthing, initiation, protection and Lore. The journey also includes Mount Hall, another spiritually significant place on Country, where stories are shared about its role within Wirangu Dreaming, ceremony, and connection to sky and land.
The experience continues to Eyre’s Waterhole, known as a significant ‘Gabi-gardal’ (Waterhole) for Wirangu and surrounding groups who shared and camped at this special place. It is a vital water place that carries songline, memory, life, and Cultural importance across generations.
Throughout the journey, Susan is supported by her nephews, Raheem and Wayne Betts, Wirangu male guides, who assist in guiding guests and holding space in a Culturally respectful way.
Together, they share stories of Country, family, and connection, offering an authentic and meaningful experience that honours Wirangu Culture Lore, respects sacred places, and invites guests to immerse on Country with care and understanding.
